Dr. Nancy Diane Kimber, MS, MD, FACOG, was born and raised in Southern California. Dr. Kimber graduated from California State University Long Beach with a B.S. in Microbiology and a minor in Chemistry. She then completed her Medical Degree at The Chicago Medical School where she also received a Master’s Degree in Nutrition.
Returning back home to Southern California in 1998, Dr. Kimber has been practicing full time as a board-certified OB/GYN. In 2006, Dr. Kimber decided to stop practicing obstetrics allowing her to focus all of her professional energy on her gynecology patients. While specializing in minimally invasive surgery, Dr. Kimber had developed a special interest in sexual health.
After graduating from the Long Beach Reserve Police Academy in 2001, Dr. Kimber served as the active medical advisor for Forensic Nurse Specialists, Inc. Her expertise in assessing and managing victims of sexual assault, as well as advising forensic nurses, has been an important part of her life.
Dr. Kimber spends part of her time out of the office volunteering at The Caring House; a non-profit, home based, residential setting, focused on helping people and their families through their end of life journey. As an obstetrician-gynecologist, she fully supports the idea that the end of life deserves as much care as the beginning.
