Dr. Brooke M. Faught, DNP, WHNP-BC, NCMP, FAANP, IF is a Board-Certified Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner specializing in female sexual and pelvic floor medicine, urology, and vulvoscopy. Dr. Faught developed and implemented the Women’s Institute for Sexual Health (WISH) in 2005, as a division of Urology Associate in Nashville, Tennessee. Today, she serves as the Director of WISH.
Dr. Faught is also very active in the women’s sexual health community. She has been a member of the International Society for the Study of Women’s Sexual Health (ISSWSH) since 2005. She gained designation as a Fellow of ISSWSH in 2012, and currently serves as Secretary on the Executive Board of Directors. She has also been an active member in the National Association of Nurse Practitioners in Women’s Health (NPWH), serving on the Board of Directors from 2012 to 2017, as well as serving two years as Treasurer on the Executive Committee.
Dr. Faught is a certified menopause practitioner through the North American Menopause Society (NAMS) and a Fellow of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP). She is also is an avid contributor to multiple scholarly publications including, but not limited to: Women’s Healthcare: A Clinical Journal for NPs, Journal of Women’s Health, The Mayo Clinic Proceedings, and Obstetrics & Gynecology.
