What are the ingredients in Clairvee and how do they work?

Each Clairvee capsule contains: 

Clairvee® Vaginal Blend: Live, active probiotic strains, specific to the vaginal flora, shown to help balance and maintain a healthy vaginal microbiome. 

- 4 billion CFU lactobacilli acidophilus 

- 1 billion CFU lactobacilli rhamnosus 

Lactoferrin, 50mg: Key component of the natural vaginal defense system that works together with the Clairvee™ Vaginal Blend to help create a protective biofilm.

Folate (as L-methylfolate monosodium), 400mcg: Provides micronutrient support, folate may play a role in maintaining a healthy vaginal microbiome.

Clairvee Capsule™ Technology: Clairvee’s probiotic formulation is suspended in liquid folate and sealed in a second, outer capsule. This patented technology helps to protect the live probiotics and allows for a delayed release of the probiotics when ingested, thereby supporting optimal colonization and a reliable, high-quality formulation that does not require refrigeration.
 

Who can or should use Clairvee?

Clairvee can be used by any woman looking to sustain the good bacteria and yeast that balance their vaginal microbiome and maintain good vaginal health. Everyday factors can disrupt the vaginal microbiome in adult women at any age, such as sex, periods, menopause, diet, antibiotic use and many other external irritants.

How long does Clairvee take to work?

Clairvee has been clinically shown to restore and maintain balance of the vaginal microbiome in as early as 15 days. However, everyday factors like sex, menstruation, underwear fabrics, stress, hot weather, and diet can disrupt the vaginal microbiome. Multiple clinical trials show that regular use of Clairvee maintains a healthy, balanced vaginal microbiome month after month, and we recommend making Clairvee part of your monthly routine to maintain a healthy microbiome and prevent symptoms of imbalance over the long term.

Does Clairvee have any side effects?

Across four randomized, double-blinded, placebo controlled clinical studies, women on Clairvee reported no side effects or adverse events.

The probiotic strains in Clairvee have been designated GRAS, or Generally Recognized As Safe, by the FDA, meaning that there is a consensus of expert opinion that the strains are safe for their intended use.
 

How do I take Clairvee?

Clairvee is a once daily oral capsule that only needs to be taken for 15 consecutive days each month, given its uniquely powerful formulation. The remaining days are ‘off’ until next month. Probiotic protection continues to increase even on the days you’re not taking Clairvee. Just one oral capsule of Clairvee per day for 15 days maintains a balanced vaginal microbiome and provides month-long protection.

A 15-day supply of Clairvee is shipped at the same time every month to make it easy for you to incorporate Clairvee into your routine. Women should continue using Clairvee each month for as long as they want to maintain a healthy vaginal microbiome and prevent symptoms of vaginal imbalance. Please note that Clairvee should be taken orally and not inserted into the vagina.
 

Can I take Clairvee with other probiotics?

Yes, Clairvee is not known to negatively interact with other probiotics.

Can I use Clairvee if I’m lactose intolerant?

One ingredient in Clairvee, Lactoferrin, is derived from milk. Individuals with lactose intolerance concerns should speak to their healthcare practitioner before taking Clairvee.

Does Clairvee need to be refrigerated?

No, Clairvee does not need to be refrigerated. Probiotics are normally suggested to be refrigerated because in higher temperature conditions, probiotics can become hydrated. Once hydrated, probiotics become active and start working inside the capsule, and not in your body where they were designed to work. However, Clairvee was specifically formulated with probiotic strains that have been scientifically shown to be stable at room temperature for long periods of time. These shelf-stable probiotics do not require refrigeration because they are created in a way that protects them from becoming activated until they are in the body. Moreover, the Clairvee Capsule™ Technology further protects the probiotics from moisture, allowing for targeted delivery of the living probiotic strains to the body.

For added protection, Clairvee is also bottled in double-walled, moisture-tight containers designed specifically for probiotics that provide unparalleled protection and ensure stability and reliability.
 

Is Clairvee approved by the FDA (Food and Drug Administration)?

Clairvee is a dietary supplement, and the FDA does not approve dietary supplements. However, under the Dietary Supplement Health and Education Act of 1994 (DHSEA), the FDA regulates dietary supplements under a different set of regulations than those covering “conventional” foods and drug products.

What is Revaree Plus?

Revaree Plus is a hormone-free vaginal insert designed to gently restore vaginal moisture. It’s formulated with double the hyaluronic acid as the original Revaree, plus soothing sweet almond oil. Together, these ingredients provide extraordinarily soothing relief from vaginal dryness, irritation, burning, and painful sex.

How does Revaree Plus work?

Revaree Plus gently replenishes natural moisture in vaginal tissue with 10 mg of hyaluronic acid—twice the amount contained in the original Revaree.

During menopause, the vagina loses collagen and its water-retaining ability. Revaree Plus counteracts these effects with hyaluronic acid, a naturally occurring molecule that holds 1,000x its weight in water, as well as sweet almond oil, a nutrient-rich moisturizer that prevents the loss of hydration. Is Revaree Plus right for me?

Revaree Plus is intended for any woman experiencing vaginal dryness or pain during intimacy. Vaginal dryness is a common side effect of menopause due to fluctuating estrogen levels. How do I use Revaree Plus?

While lying down before bed, place one Revaree Plus insert inside your vagina. Using your finger, push it as far as it will comfortably go. Remain lying down for at least 30 minutes for best results. Use every three days or as directed by your healthcare provider. Continue to use Revaree Plus to maintain comfort.

Does Revaree Plus have any side effects?

In clinical studies, no serious adverse events were reported.^6,7,8 Revaree Plus is cleared by the FDA as a Class II Medical Device and has been used safely in Europe for over 14 years. For specific concerns, speak to your doctor or healthcare practitioner.

What causes vaginal dryness?

Vaginal dryness can occur at different points across a woman’s life. It’s also a common symptom of menopause. That’s because the lower estrogen levels that occur during menopause change the vagina on a cellular level. Less estrogen means less blood flow, which can result in less natural lubrication and thinning vaginal tissue. In addition to menopause, vaginal dryness is common in women who are lactating, taking birth control pills (and certain other medications), and in smokers.

What is the difference between Revaree and Revaree Plus?

Revaree and Revaree Plus are both hyaluronic acid-based vaginal inserts that moisturize the vaginal tissue and provide hormone-free relief from vaginal dryness. Both inserts are the same size. While Revaree contains 5 mg of hyaluronic acid, Revaree Plus contains 10 mg of hyaluronic acid. Additionally, only Revaree Plus contains soothing sweet almond oil, which enhances its soothing and moisturizing effects.

Which product is right for me: Revaree or Revaree Plus?

Revaree and Revaree Plus are both vaginal inserts that are tested to relieve vaginal dryness and painful sex. They are the same size, and both feature hyaluronic acid as the main ingredient. Revaree Plus is formulated to provide extra-strength relief from vaginal dryness and painful sex, as it contains twice the amount of hyaluronic acid as Revaree. Additionally, it also contains soothing sweet almond oil to enhance it’s moisturizing and soothing effects, making it gentle enough for sensitive skin. If you are looking for a solution that provides extra-strength relief from vaginal dryness and painful sex, or is gentle enough for sensitive skin, consider Revaree Plus.

Can I use Revaree Plus if I have a nut allergy or sensitivity?

Revaree Plus contains refined sweet almond oil. While topical sweet almond oil is not considered a notable allergen by the FDA, out of an abundance of caution, we advise avoiding Revaree Plus if you have a known sensitivity or allergy to almonds. In such cases, we recommend trying Revaree instead, our original vaginal dryness solution that contains hyaluronic acid but no sweet almond oil.

How often should I use Revaree Plus?

Revaree Plus should be used every 2-3 days, or as otherwise directed by a healthcare provider.

Can I use Revaree Plus before sex? How long should I wait to have sex after using Revaree Plus?

For best results, we suggest that you allow the insert one hour to fully absorb. However, the time Revaree Plus takes to be fully absorbed will be different for everyone. Note that Revaree Plus is not compatible with natural rubber latex, polyurethane, and polyisoprene condoms.

How do I know if Ristela is right for me?

Ristela provides powerful, hormone-free support for increased orgasm and physical arousal for sexually active women who want to enhance their response to sexual stimulation.*

What symptoms does Ristela help?

In clinical trials, Ristela has been shown to help overall sexual satisfaction during intercourse. In a double-blind, placebo-controlled clinical trial, Ristela demonstrated significant improvements in orgasm, physical arousal, and overall satisfaction.*

How long does it take to feel results with Ristela?

In clinical trials, women saw significant improvements with Ristela at month 1, with best results by month 2 and beyond. We recommend that you take Ristela for as long as you desire the benefit it provides.

Are there any side effects with Ristela?

In clinical studies, any side effects reported were no different than those reported by people taking placebo tablets (sugar pills). The ingredients in Ristela are clinically shown to be safe and have been used by women in Europe for more than 20 years. If you have specific concerns, we recommend that you speak with your doctor.

Are Bonafide products covered by health insurance? By Medicare/Medicaid?

At this time, our products are not covered by traditional insurance. That said, some healthcare HSA or FSA cards cover part or all of the cost of certain Bonafide products, so we recommend reaching out to your HSA/FSA provider to confirm if you can use your HSA or FSA funds.

Once you’ve confirmed that your HSA or FSA does cover Bonafide products, you should be able to place an order for any of our products; we’ve taken all of the necessary steps on our end to ensure you can access the proof of payment needed to file a reimbursement claim. We also recommend consulting your provider to determine what documentation is required to have your claim approved, as many providers require a Letter of Medical Necessity (LMN) in addition to a receipt.
